Currently focused on

• Wrapping up my Byzantine-fault-tolerant quantum consensus work and turning the follow-up notes into a paper draft.
• Building out the Quantum Radar automation that lives in this repo (see it here) so I can keep tabs on the field without spending all day in feed readers.
• Tutoring a small group of students in physics, intro quantum, and test-prep topics on the side.

Reading

• Selected papers from QIP and TQC proceedings.
• Re-reading Nielsen & Chuang chapters 8 and 12 for a class I am sitting in on.

Thinking about

• How to give realistic plain-language abstracts for technical papers without watering down the actual contribution.
• Whether my QR “movers & shakers” list should track research labs more granularly than companies — they move at very different cadences.
